JERSEY CITY-Work is set to start for the Schroeder Lofts, a 58-unit condominium project at the corner of Erie and 10th streets here. Architectural design work has been completed for the project by the Hasbrouck Heights-based DMR Architects. The developer is the locally based Exeter Property Co., which has multiple current residential projects in this city. And Schroeder Lofts is being built by the Hoboken-based Green Tree Construction. The cost hasn't been released.

"The Schroeder Lofts are situated in a location that is close to public transportation and the downtown shopping district," says Lloyd Rosenberg, president, CEO and founder of DMR Architects. "We worked with Exeter to give the city's residents another option when looking for a home."
