The center will feature anchors including Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond, PetSmart and A.C. Moore, a junior anchor, specialty retailers and Insight Financial Credit Union. It will also include take-out and sit down restaurants such as Arby's, Longhorn Steakhouse and two other restaurant chains. The center will feature Mediterranean-style architecture in addition to two fountains and landscaping.

"The town's growth management department has been instrumental in helping us through the planning process," says Martin DelleBovi, of the Benchmark Group. "This project could not have happened if the town wasn't able to accommodate us by implementing new infrastructure which included water and sewer lines to serve the project."

The marketing efforts are being handled by Wood Belcher and Suzanne Washburn, of CB Richard Ellis in Orlando. Belcher tells GlobeSt.com that the center is approximately 80% preleased. The shopping center is one hour north of Orlando and near the Villages, in an area that has been experiencing tremendous retail growth. "It's at the crossroads of the Villages and Lady Lake along Highway 27 where big box stores have been lining up," Belcher says.
