Crow Takes Conference Center for $30M

PEACHTREE CITY, GA-The Aberdeen Woods Conference Center consists of 233 guest rooms, 54,000 sf of meeting space including 64 meeting rooms, an auditorium and two amphitheaters.

PEACHTREE CITY, GA-Dallas-based Crow Holdings has acquired the Aberdeen Woods Conference Center at 201 Aberdeen Parkway for $30 million. Pitney Bowes Inc. sold the property.

The conference center consists of 233 guest rooms, 54,000 sf of meeting space including 64 meeting rooms, a 150-seat auditorium and an 80-seat and 45-seat amphitheatre. Montvale, NJ-based Dolce International will manage the property.

“Conference centers continue to be in strong demand among investors,” says Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels executive vice president Alan Tantleff, who represented Pitney Bowes. “Hotel investors continue to see an increasing value in having dedicated meeting facilities and value the benefits of the CMP model. Investment in the property presented an opportunity to take part in that growth and revenue stream.”
