The overwhelming response to this fund is indicative of the success of the company's investment strategy, according to Sanford Herrick, managing director of HRC, in a prepared release. "That strategy has not changed since the closing of our first two funds in 2002," he notes. "We continue to focus on middle-market opportunistic investments with appropriate risk-adjusted returns."
In the five years since its inception, HRC has experienced rapid growth, according to a company statement. This year, the firm expanded its New York City headquarters, opened a regional office in Miami as GlobeSt.com previously reported and acquired Questor LLC, a real estate consulting firm providing due diligence and underwriting services.
