Westinghouse Takes Nuclear HQ to 915,000 SF

CRANBERRY TWP., PA-Westinghouse Electric Co. will add 140,000 sf to the 775,000-sf nuclear energy campus under way on 80 acres in Cranberry Woods Office Park. After fierce competition among locations in six other states , as GlobeSt.com reported, this March the company chose this site for its $140-million complex.

A Westinghouse spokesman tells GlobeSt.com the expansion will be accomplished by adding one floor each to two of the three buildings. He says, “we haven’t put a cost figure on the expansion.”

Ground broke this August for the first building, which is scheduled for delivery in 2009. The remainder is scheduled for completion in 2010, he says.
