General Motors signed a 24,195-sf lease renewal at Huntington Centre and was represented by Andersen. Practice Partners signed a 5,089-sf lease expansion at Huntington Centre, bringing their total square footage to 13,397 sf. Taylor & Mathis director of leasing Allison Adler negotiated the transactions on behalf of MetLife.

The recently completed Miramar Centre III is a four-story, 94,691-sf office building with a two-story atrium. Both buildings are located at Interstate 75 and Miramar Parkway and are centrally located to Miami-Dade and Broward counties and the Miami and Fort Lauderdale International Airports. Huntington Centre has two, four-story, 91,600-sf class A office buildings.

According to a CB Richard Ellis Q3 office market report for Broward County, the Southwest Broward County submarket--where the office buildings are located--was experiencing an 11.3% vacancy rate at the end of the quarter with 122,414 sf of negative absorption experienced year-to-date and average asking rents of $21.48 per sf.
