GMH Lands $37M Housing Contract at Fort Stewart

HINESVILLE, GA-GMH Military Housing will develop 334 units of unaccompanied housing personnel.

HINESVILLE, GA-Newtown Square, PA-based GMH Communities Trust has reached an agreement with the Army to develop 334 units of housing at Fort Stewart. The $37-million project–to be completed through GMH’s military housing division, GMH Military Housing–will be unaccompanied personnel housing for soldiers in the ranks of staff sergeant (E-6) and above.

The project is coterminous with a 50-year ground lease for the company’s Fort Stewart/Hunter family housing project. The project will begin with a two-year development period that will include design, construction, management, maintenance and operational responsibilities.
