Trump Tower To Open Hotel at End of Month

CHICAGO-Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago will be opening the hotel portion of the 2.7-million-sf building on Jan. 30.

CHICAGO-Trump International Hotel & Tower will open its hotel portion on Jan. 30 at 401 N. Wabash Ave., according to a recent statement by the New York City-based Trump Organization. The tower will have 2.7 million sf of hotel and condo space, with approximately 100,000 sf of retail. The hotel in the 92-story building will have 286 hotel suites with one, two or three bedrooms.

There will also be 53 “spa guestrooms,” which will open later this year along with the Spa at Trump, according to the statement. Sixteen, a restaurant headed by Chef Frank Bruancci, will open for breakfast on Jan. 30 and will open for lunch and dinner beginning Feb. 6. Rebar, the hotel’s lounge, is scheduled to open by the end of February, according to the released statement.
