The company, which will occupy the entire building, was represented by Studley managing director John Esposito, corporate managing director Shane Wilder and associate Chris Harak in the transaction. Bob Dikman, of the Dikman Co., represented the landlord, Sabal Park Properties LLC, in the transaction. The company, which will use the space for light manufacturing and distribution, moved into the space in November. Universal is the only tenant in the building. It previously occupied space at 3021 East Adamo.

Esposito tells GlobeSt.com that the building is in the Park East industrial complex, located in East Tampa. "Universal chose the space because it is located close to its current location," he says. "They also liked it because it has a 2.5-acre paved and fenced-in yard."

Esposito adds that leasing activity in the East Tampa submarket has been strong in recent times. "The industrial market has been extremely tight, but we're starting to see some loosening up," he says. "The wind is starting to blow in a different direction."
