Butler Takes President, COO Reins at Capri

CHICAGO-Capri Capital Partners LLC is promoting Gwendolyn Butler from chief marketing officer.

CHICAGO-Capri Capital Partners LLC, based here, is promoting Gwendolyn Butler to president and newly created position of COO. Butler had served as chief marketing officer since joining the firm in March. “The position was created to ensure that we have the organizational infrastructure in place that will allow us to achieve our business goals,” she says.

As chief marketing officer, Butler was in charge of raising institutional capital. Since joining Capri, the company has received more than $500 million in new capital, she says. In her new position, Butler will continue to focus on raising capital with additional duties of overseeing the company’s investment, finance and marketing personnel.
