Urban Realty Advisors principals William Herman and Eric May will be leading the newly expanded Development Services team at Monument. "We bring to the table a national presence--a number of our clients have national requirements," Herman tells GlobeSt.com. New services will include project management--from conceptual planning through final occupancy--as well as development and brokerage services for third-party clients. Advisory and consulting expertise will include due diligence, feasibility analyses, financial strategies, and asset management for single properties and real estate portfolios.

URA also has strong green bona fides, having served as national real estate advisor to Service Employees International Union as it completed redevelopment of its 200,000-sf international headquarters at 1800 Massachusetts Ave., which has been certified as LEED-Gold. URA also oversaw the leasing and tenant fit-out of 22,000 sf in the same building for US Green Building Council's own headquarters, certified as LEED-Platinum; and 31,000 sf of LEED-Gold tenant space for the United Nations Foundation.

Currently, it is overseeing the second phase of a Downtown headquarters renovation and expansion for Change to Win, a partnership of seven affiliated unions; providing due diligence and owner representation for a multiple hotel acquisition, assisting in the development and redevelopment projects for Thayer Lodging Group; and providing advisory and brokerage services for Aronson & Co.
