MIAMI-Locally based Taylor Development and Land Co. and Boca Raton-based Economos Properties are planning to break ground in April on Off-Brickell. The $120-million mixed-use development will stand between Coral Way and SW 15th Road.

The 3.5-acre, 568,000-sf project will include a 150,000-sf, class A office building, 86,000 sf of retail and a 213-room Hilton Garden Inn. Epicure Market, the Miami Beach specialty foods store, has signed a letter of intent to lease 37,000 sf for a new marketplace and restaurant. The office building, which will have 17,000-sf plates, is being designed by Dorsky Hodgson Parrish Yue. The project is expected to be completed in 2010.

Taylor Development and Land Co. president Harvey Taylor tells GlobeSt.com the project will be multi-leveled, but the hotel and office buildings will be 10 stories. Office leasing efforts will be handled by Transwestern. Koniver Stern is handling leasing efforts for the retail.
