Chicago Bridge Signs On for 60,000-SF Office

BOLINGBROOK, IL-The engineering firm signs a lease for 10 years at the 548,000-sf Tallgrass Corporate Center, which is 80% occupied.

BOLINGBROOK, IL-Chicago Bridge & Iron Co., with its worldwide administrative offices in the Woodlands, TX, has signed a lease for 60,000 sf at Tallgrass Corporate Center, 1000 Remington Blvd. The firm provides engineering, design, procurement and construction services to clients in the energy and natural resources industries. The term of the lease is just more than 10 years, says Joseph Neverauskas, SVP of BPG Properties Ltd. An affiliate of BPG owns the center.

The tenant is relocating from 14105 S. Route 59, in Plainfield. Neverauskas said that he did not know how much space the company is occupying in Plainfield, but that the move is an expansion for them. The company could not expand at its current location and “there was not other space in the market that fit their needs,” Neverauskas says. Francis Prock and Dave Florent, with Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler Inc., represented BPG. Scott Wegmann and Justin Leighton, with Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, represented Chicago Bridge.
