The new owners are John Blomfield, previously a hotel operator in Alaska, and Johnny Noe. The deal includes 20 acres of developable land that the new owners will use to expand the resort, HREC broker Michael Cahill tells GlobeSt.com.
Located at one of the entrances to the Going to the Sun Road, the resort opened in 1933 to coincide with the opening of the Going to the Sun Road, and has been owned by the Black Family ever since. The property has been on the market since 2005. Instead of a straight property sale, the Black family sold the stock in the company that owns the resort.
