EL SEGUNDO, CA-The new vice president of development at Urban Housing Group is Peter Cossavella. As such, he will source and execute projects in Southern California for the firm, a locally based subsidiary of the Marcus & Millichap Co. that specializes in multifamily and mixed-use communities. He is also charged with identifying and assessing potential development opportunities, handling deal negotiations, forming and leading teams to complete due diligence reviews, handling the entitlement process and securing necessary local, state and federal permits. In his 20-year career, Cossavella has held the posts of senior vice president, vice president and senior officer for such firms as Camden Property Trust, Citicorp Real Estate, Fairfield Residential, Molasky Pacific and the Amstar Group. He has managed the development of more than $700 million worth of mixed-use and multifamily projects totaling some 6,000 units across the southern and western US.

[IMGCAP(2)] CARLSBAD, CA-To better service its Southern California clients, Wells Fargo Multifamily Capital has added a new originator, K. Laurie Morfin, to its commercial mortgage office here. For the past eight years, she was vice president and director of Wells Fargo Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities origination. Prior to that, Morfin was a loan originator for Nationwide Insurance and an asset manager for Union Central Life Insurance Co. The 14-year industry veteran adds CMBS experience to Wells Fargo Multifamily Capital's Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA products. The division provides permanent financing for multifamily properties, healthcare facilities and affordable housing communities.

[IMGCAP(3)] IRVINE, CA-Keystone Pacific Property Management Inc. has elevated two staff members. Sarah Kerr, formerly accounts payable supervisor, will now serve as general ledger supervisor. Kerr, who joined the firm's local office in 2001, will supervise the general ledger department, which includes meeting with managers to prepare association's annual budgets as well as reviewing financial statements, audits and tax returns. Meanwhile, Keystone Pacific has promoted Donna DePledge to community association manager. [IMGCAP(4)] She was previously associate community association manager. Operating out of the Temecula, CA office, DePledge will manage the company's portfolio of existing and new development accounts throughout the Inland Empire.
