Trillium Residential Taps Sinclair to Direct Operations

[IMGCAP(1)] TEMPE, AZ-Rising in the ranks at Trillium Residential LLC is Michelle Sinclair, who will now serve as director of operations. She joined the company multifamily development and management firm in 2003 and most recently held the title of director of employee development. The 20-year industry veteran will oversee all of Trillium’s on-site operations, including revenue growth and lifestyle training and resident retention and site team management for the firm’s communities. Trillium’s portfolio is comprised of five existing communities with 1,477 units; three communities with 1,376 units to be delivered this year; and some 2,000 units slated for delivery in 2009 and 2010. Sinclair, who will also facilitate the firm’s customer experience management program, is also a founder of Trillium’s employee enrichment program, TRACoach.

EL SEGUNDO, CA-The new vice president of development at Urban Housing Group is Peter Cossavella. As such, he will source and execute projects in Southern California for the firm, a locally based subsidiary of the Marcus & Millichap Co. that specializes in multifamily and mixed-use communities. He is also charged with identifying and assessing potential development opportunities, handling deal negotiations, forming and leading teams to complete due diligence reviews, handling the entitlement process and securing necessary local, state and federal permits. In his 20-year career, Cossavella has held the posts of senior vice president, vice president and senior officer for such firms as Camden Property Trust, Citicorp Real Estate, Fairfield Residential, Molasky Pacific and the Amstar Group. He has managed the development of more than $700 million worth of mixed-use and multifamily projects totaling some 6,000 units across the southern and western US.
