Cargo Partner was represented by Colliers International Czech Republic. With close proximity to the Ruzyne Airport, the site is advantageous for the shipping company.

"That was an important selection criterion, given Cargo Partner's specialization in the air freight," says Simona Cerna of Colliers International Czech Republic. "The developer, Segro, demonstrated a high level of flexibility and offered Cargo Partner custom-built premises to suit their needs--apart from standard level ramps and direct entrance to the building the premises will be equipped with special side loading bays designed for smaller vans, and there will be also spare office space allowing Cargo Partner to expand in the future."

"There were few competitors offering such space within the required time frame in western part of Prague," adds Karel Stransky, director of industrial Services, Colliers International Czech Republic. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Zbynek Laube, commercial and acquisitions manager at Segro adds that "this was another pre-let we agreed last year, and we are particularly pleased that it was to Cargo Partner, a well-established logistics operator on the global market. Tulipan Park is a key development for Segro, and we are aiming to create a major business park for the Prague market there."
