Guess Inks $4M Lease at 1520 Walnut St.

PHILADELPHIA-On April 1, the retailer will open a two-level unit aggregating 5,763 sf in space previously occupied by Benetton.

PHILADELPHIA-Guess Inc. will make its Center City debut on April 1. The Los Angeles-based trendy retailer has signed a lease for an aggregate of 5,763 sf on the first and second floors at 1520 Walnut St.

Laurence Steinberg, director, and Michelle Goldman of locally based Michael Salove Co. Commercial Real Estate represented both the tenant and the owner in the transaction, which they report is valued at in excess of $4 million. Calling Guess “the darling of the apparel industry,” Steinberg says, “their commitment to Walnut Street reinforces the strength of Rittenhouse Row shopping.”
