Mazda Takes 133,000 SF in VA

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VA-Mazda will be using the space, owned by Weingarten Realty and the AFL-CIO Building Investment Trust, for its warehouse operations.

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VA-Mazda North American operations will be occupying 133,000 sf of industrial space at Walthall industrial park in Colonial Heights. The facilities, called the Enterchange, are owned by a joint venture between Weingarten Realty and the AFL-CIO Building Investment Trust.

Mazda is using the space as a warehouse facility. Chad Baker of the Staubach Co. represented Mazda North American operations. James Bretting, senior asset manager with Weingarten Realty, represented the Owner in the transaction.

Enterchange at Walthall is comprised of five buildings totaling nearly 1.5 million sf. The park is located along I-95 approximately 20 miles south of Richmond. Other tenants in the park include PSS/World Medical, Glaxo SmithKline, Hill-Phoenix, Recall Total Information Management and Hospital Corp. of America.
