"Our search led us to Danet Linares. She's an innovative thinker whose hands-on approach to management and 'doing the deal' is important to Miami's highly-competitive international commercial real estate market."

Linares will lead the marketing and leasing efforts at Brickell Financial Centre being driven by CB Richard Ellis, which is the exclusive leasing agent for the project.

The 1.5-million-sf Brickell Financial Centre at 680 Brickell Ave. will include more than one million sf of class A office, a five-star hotel and more than 20,000 sf of retail. Construction for phase one of the project has started, which will include a 602,721-sf, 40-story class A office tower. This phase is expected to be completed in January 2010. Phase two will include a 68-story mixed-use tower that will include retail space at the base, parking, office space, a 300-room hotel stacked in ascending order. Groundbreaking for the second phase is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2010 with completion anticipated in 2012.
