Maxxam Debuts 60,000-SF Wholesale Center

LOS ANGELES-Maxxam Enterprises of Beverly Hills has completed the development firm’s new 60,000-sf wholesale center at 777 E. 2th St. The project project provides space for stores and showrooms specializing in wholesale women’s fashions and apparel.

The center’s location is at 12th and Towne Avenue, a key intersection within the Fashion District of Los Angeles, notes Behrouz Soroudi, a Maxxam principal. The new development, which features space for stores and showrooms on its ground and mezzanine levels, also includes parking, a big selling point in a high-traffic commercial area like the Fashion District, Soroudi points out. In addition to the stores and showrooms, the building features a branch of Pacific City Bank that recently opened on the second floor.
