The new additions are a mix of national and local businesses, including Wachovia, which signed on for a 4,000-sf bank-pad site. And Zaslow's Fine Collectibles has leased 4,500 sf at the open-air center, according to Michael Gartenberg, director of leasing for the Short Hills-based Garden Commercial.
Jake's Racing Collectables took a 2,000-sf slot, meanwhile. And taking 1,500-sf units were Salad Works, Hair Care, Planet Beach Tanning Salon, Math Monkey Education Center, Marinaccio Jewelers and Game Stop. Terms of the signings were not released.
"Colonial Plaza has drawn the attention of both national and local businesses due to its highly visible location along the heavily trafficked Aberdeen-Matawan stretch of Route 34 in Monmouth County," Gartenberg says. The new additions join a tenant roster anchored by Stop & Shop, Bed Bath & Beyond, Sleepy's and Famous Footwear, which opened at the site in 2007.
