Mimms Enters Tampa Market with 78,686-SF Buy

RIVERVIEW, FL-Roswell, GA-based Mimms Enterprises has entered the Tampa market with the acquisition of the 78,686-sf Bloomingdale Hills Shopping Center at 10825-10863 Bloomington Ave. Built in 2002, the 100% occupied center is anchored by an Albertsons grocery store. Other tenants include St. Joseph Children’s Hospital of Tampa, Great Clips and Sun Nail & Spa.

Riverview is a submarket east of Tampa with access off of Interstate 75. Mimms director of marketing Brad Shoemaker tells GlobeSt.com that the acquisition price was more than $6 million. The company was attracted to the property for acquisition due to its stability and steady income flow, he says. “We have a few projects that we are developing, so we were looking for a steady cash flow,” Shoemaker says.
