According to Randall Hagner president Petch Gibbons, McHugh will be charged with expanding the firm's tenant and landlord rep services. Wood's strengths, he said, are in market dynamics and investment analysis. "We couldn't be more pleased at having this dynamic team join us as we grow our Northern Virginia office."

McHugh and Wood both come to Hagner from the McLean office of CBRE. McHugh was SVP, in charge of the real estate advisory and brokerage services. Prior to CBRE, McHugh worked with Trammell Crow, Faison & Associates and Barnes, Morris, Pardoe and Foster. Major accounts have included the American National Red Cross, Eli Lilly and Co. and EDS. Wood, as senior associate, was working with CBRE's Global Services team in the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets. Wood served at CBRE for four years, working with clients including American National Red Cross, Eli Lilly and Co., Comprehensive Health Services and Orbcomm.

A year ago J Street Development acquired Randall Hagner, a residential and commercial brokerage, mortgage lending and property management company. Bruce Baschuk, president of J Street and former managing director of CB Richard Ellis' Washington office, has purchased the stock of Randall Hagner Ltd. from the Hagner family and other stockholders in the company as part of the deal. Gibbons, former president and CEO of GVA Advantis, joined Randall Hagner as president last September.
