Unitech is a professional services company and defense contractor that provides training, performance improvement, and simulation and security services. The Alter Group senior vice president for national development Todd Yates tells GlobeSt.com that the company is consolidating several locations in the metro area and will occupy the space Aug. 15. "The company selected the space due to its proximity to the University of Central Florida and its research park," Yates says.
The exclusive leasing agent for Concourse at Quadrangle is CB Richard Ellis vice president John Gilbert. Cushman & Wakefield senior directors Rick Solik and Ann Rosenau represented Unitech.
Located at Quadrangle and Corporate boulevards in northeast Orlando and 15 miles from Orlando International Airport, the Concourse at Quadrangle office park is situated within the 263-acre Quadrangle business park. Concourse at Quadrangle has access to several major roadways in the area, including Route 417--which connects the area to Downtown--and Highway 4, the Bee Line Expressway, East-West Expressway and the Florida Turnpike.
The Alter Group completed two single-story speculative office buildings at Quadrangle and developed an approximately 450,000-sf, two-phase build-to-suit corporate headquarters for Siemens Westinghouse Power Corp. Yates says that, due to the Unitech, lease, the company is planning to begin construction of an additional 100,000 sf at Concourse at Quadrangle. The new space will consist of two 50,000-sf, single-story buildings similar to the building Unitech will occupy, he says.
