LINC signed a three-year lease for 76,028 sf at 1457 Glenn Curtiss in Carson in a relocation and expansion from the Gardena area. Vin Lux, which is a joint venture between Biagi Bros and Regal Enterprises, signed a three-year lease for 55,788 sf at 18851 Broadwick St. in Rancho Dominguez in an expansion into the Southern California marketplace. Towne Air Freight signed a one-year lease for 51,825 sf at 1460 Beachey Place in Carson in a relocation and expansion from the LAX area.

Watson Land Co. was represented internally by marketing and leasing VP Lance Ryan and by Mike Bodlovich. LINC was represented by Van Lloyd and Dave Drummond of Colliers International, Vin Lux by Steve Dunn of the Romar Co. and Towne Air Freight by Harvey Beesen and Luke Staubitz of the Klabin Co.

The Dominguez Technology Center is located within the South Bay industrial submarket, close to freeways and both the ports and airports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. The South Bay submarket is a perennial leader in sales and leasing activity in the region, with a year-end vacancy rate at a historic low of 1.5%, according to recent market reports by major commercial brokerages. It is one of the tightest infill areas in Southern California, with a continued lack of significant construction because of the lack of land on which to build.
