Kramer, 49, is leaving to become chief executive of Griffon Corp., a company for whom he is vice chairman and a board member since 1993. The company, together with its subsidiaries is an international manufacturer of garage doors, specialty plastic films, and electronic information and communication systems, according to Yahoo Finance.
Kramer's first day at Griffon will be April 1. He will succeed the retiring Harvey R. Blau, who will remain as Griffon's non-executive chairman of the board.
