The company took the balance of the lease term of Broder Brothers. Malvern, PA-based Liberty Property Trust recently completed a 340,000-sf build-to-suit for Broder Brothers. Broder Brothers is a wholesale distributor of tees, sport shirts, fleece and corporate apparel including jackets, sweaters and dress shirts. ROL Manufacturing produces automotive gaskets, industrial rings and seals as well as exhaust parts and accessories.
Locally based Southern Commercial Real Estate Advisors William Bradford and Tom McFadden represented Liberty Property Trust in the transaction. Mike Borling, of EastGroup, represented the landlord in the extension of ROL Manufacturing's lease for an additional five years. Michael Kara, of Kara Homes, represented ROL Manufacturing in the lease transaction.
Bradford tells GlobeSt.com that the company will use the space to meet office and distribution needs and will move in mid-April. With the sublease, the building is 100% occupied. "The location was central to their core clients," Bradford says.
The building is located within the southeast submarket of Orlando. "Activity as a whole has been a bit slower than in previous years," Bradford says. "So, overall, the activity has been moderate."
