International digital office solutions company Ricoh Latin America is relocating and expanding its Latin American headquarters from Doral to a 9,716-sf space in a $2.3 million deal. The company is the sales and marketing unit of Ricoh Corp., a domestic subsidiary of Ricoh Company Ltd., and provides office automation solutions for South and Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Miami Beach-based Terranova Corp. senior commercial associate Gordon Messinger represented the landlord, a New York-based pension fund advisor, in the transaction. Rashid Siahpoosh of Transwestern represented Ricoh Latin America.
Other deals at Weston Corporate Centre include Stress Free Corporate Housing's signing of a 3,360-sf lease in a deal valued at $860,000. The corporate housing provider will relocate from Pembroke Pines. Community Capital Management signed a 4,017-sf lease in a deal valued at $780,000 and Raymond James Financial renewed its 6,771-sf lease in a deal valued at $1.7 million. Messinger also represented the landlord in these transactions.
"The companies selected Weston Corporate Centre because they all wanted to be located in a class A office setting and all wanted to be located in Weston," Messinger tells GlobeSt.com. "Activity has picked up in this area and we're working on a handful of deals."
Located on 9.8 acres, Weston Corporate Centre has a total of 148,591 sf in both buildings, which front I-75 and Royal Palm Boulevard with access to major state highways.
