Dirt Moves on Massive Lexus Dealership

NORTH MIAMI, FL-The 1 million-sf facility, to be the nation's largest, will also include green features.

NORTH MIAMI, FL-Construction has started on a 1,031,291-sf Lexus dealership at 14100 Biscayne Blvd., on the city’s north end. Besides being the largest of its type in the United States, it will include a few environmentally friendly features as well.

The project is being undertaken by Craig Zinn Automotive Group, with Fort Lauderdale-based Stiles Corp. serving as general contractor. Completion of the nine-acre complex is expected in spring 2009.

“Investing in this new facility brings us significantly closer to our customer base, which includes Aventura, Bal Harbour and Williams Island, and extends from Miami Beach to Hallandale and Hollywood,” group president and CEO Craig Zinn said in a released statement.
