Furniture Retailer Enters Florida Market

MIAMI-EQ3 will open an 11,000-sf location in the fourth quarter at Midtown Park at 3466 North Miami Ave.

MIAMI-Furniture retailer EQ3 will open its first store in Florida with the signing of a 10-year, 11,000-sf lease at Midtown Park at 3466 North Miami Ave.

The company plans to open the store in the fourth quarter. David Preston, senior commercial associate with Miami Beach-based Terranova Corp., represented the tenant in the transaction.

Preston tells GlobeSt.com that EQ3 selected the location because of the large number of furniture stores in the area. “The store caters to young, urban professionals and Downtown Miami and Miami Beach are two areas where its customer base is located,” he says.
