FORT WORTH-Tarrant County is adding 36,866 sf of records storage space to its portfolio, signing a lease for a 121,700-sf building in Mercantile Center. Move-in is planned for the summer.

Todd Burnette, executive vice president in the Fort Worth office of Dallas-based Staubach Co., tells GlobeSt.com that the expansion was sealed with a term “just shy of five years” for a 121,700-sf office/warehouse at 3333 Quorum Dr. He says the county’s real estate team looked “off and on” about six months before zeroing in on Mercantile Center, a two-million-sf development of flex office and industrial space positioned close to the junction of Interstate 35W and Loop 820.
