ORLANDO, FL-With construction nearing completion on the 400,000-sf Loop West shopping center, 21 new retailers have signed on for the project, according to its developer.
The retailers are Babies R Us, DSW, Aveda, GNC, GameStop, Zales, Beya, Pearle Vision, Victoria’s Secret, New York & Co., Bath and Body Works, Christopher & Banks, CJ Banks, Tilly’s, Ulta, Books-A-Million and BJ’s Restaurant Brewhouse. Restaurants currently signed are Abuelos, Pei Wei, Bonefish Grill and Tropical Smoothie Café. The retailers will move into the space over the spring and summer months. They join co-anchors JC Penney and Belk, as well as Circuit City and Party City. Those four tenants have already opened for business.
Loop West, which is being developed by Boston-based Wilder Cos., is adjacent to Loop-Orlando, a 440,000-sf shopping center at the corner of John Young and Osceola Parkways. Principal Tom Wilder tells GlobeSt.com that with the additional tenants, the project is 99% pre-leased. “There is only one space left for lease. We expect all the tenants to be moved in by September,” Wilder says
