The firm's goal is "to expand the platform and really take advantage of the SEC guidelines coming out," says Lunine, referring to the exemption from securities registration for commercial real estate professionals being considered by the Securities and Exchange Commission. He hopes T.R. Winston will be "the national player for the brokerage community for tenants-in-common," Lunine adds.

"While the real estate market is certainly facing a number of challenges, we firmly believe that the tenant-in-common industry will continue to grow for the high-tier sponsors," T.R. Winston president Jack Galuchie says in an official announcement. "With the addition of Scott to our team, this firm is in a strong position to significantly contribute to the growth in 2008 and beyond."

T.R. Winston has been involved in TIC investment sales since 2001. The exclusive placement agent for Los Angeles-based sponsor Fort Properties Inc., it has sold other TIC product offerings as well.
