Baker & Daniels was represented by Gary Stein and Nicole Miller of Studley. The CB Richard Ellis team of Randy Harrell, Kevin Howard and Nathan Beach represented the building owners, a joint venture of the Lenkin Co. and the Tower Cos. Asking rates for the building are in the mid to high $40s, triple net.

[IMGCAP(2)]Stein tells GlobeSt.com that the law firm is moving from 805 15th St. as part of an expansion. "It currently leases 25,000 sf there." According to Stein, the firm had many options from which to select, but liked the Gold LEED certification the building expects to receive as well as the detail the owners are incorporating into the design. That, plus the timing of the delivery "made this the right choice for the firm."

Other tenants have signed onto space there as well. Knoll, a furniture manufacturer that specializes in LEED furniture will be leasing 11,980 sf, according to Harrell. There are also two additional leases pending at 13,200 sf each, he tells GlobeSt.com. "We will continue to carefully pick our tenants," he adds. "We care about who they are and what they stand for as much as we do everything else."
