JPI Pencils September Start for 419-Unit Plan

WASHINGTON, DC-JPI East will build Jefferson at Half Street as a LEED Silver project. The Baseball District project will deliver by June 2010.

WASHINGTON, DC-JPI East is developing a 419-unit apartment building along Half Street in the city’s Baseball District. The developer is touting the Jefferson at Half Street as the first LEED Silver multifamily development in the city for new construction.

The division of Irving, TX-based JPI will break ground on Jefferson at Half Street in September. The first units will be available by June 2010. Units will range from urban studio apartments to two-story lofts with 18-foot vertical windows. Jefferson at Half Street will also include 12,000 sf of retail. JPI was unavailable to comment on the project by deadline.
