The LLC is a group of 12 cancer specialists, including James Lloyd Wade, who formed the group to own and manage the building. The estimated cost of the project is $15 million, says Harry Pickrell, VP of development for Lillibridge.
The group of physicians currently leases space at 2880 N. Monroe, here, Pickrell says. The single-story facility will be on a 6.5-acre site adjacent to the Decatur Memorial Hospital Campus, Pickrell says. The building will have medical and radiation oncology services. Approximately half of the building will be leased by Decatur Memorial Hospital with the rest of the space used by the physicians of Baker's Dozen. Construction is expected to begin this fall and take about 12 months to complete.
