In a news release, Brandon Famous, Fameco's founder and CEO, says Sonic is the largest chain of drive-in restaurants in the US and is considered "tops in its field."

At present, Sonic has seven Pennsylvania locations, including four in the Harrisburg area and three in the Pittsburgh market, according to its website. All are at least an hour's drive from the tri-county area. The Oklahoma City-based company has operated under the Sonic brand name since 1959 and serves more than a million customers nationwide daily, according to a news release from Sonic.

In other news, Fameco, which specializes in the retail sector, earlier this week represented a 46,720-sf lease for Best Buy and a 36,000-sf lease for Christmas Tree Shops, both at Ashbridge Square in Downingtown. Famous says three store opportunities remain available at the 376,489-sf power center, which is anchored by Home Depot, Staples and JoAnn Fabrics.
