The newly taken space is in addition to the company's headquarters in Wayne, NJ, where it occupies 400,000 sf at 35-B Continental Dr. The new lease at 10 Taft Court adds up to a total 81,867 sf.
XLR8 Distribution was represented in the transaction by SVP Kenneth Lundberg and Scott Perkins, managing director of corporate services, of NAI James E. Hanson, Hackensack, NJ. Mike Evans and Jeff Fulton of SBWE Inc., based in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, represented landlord Red Man Realty LLC, a local group. Terms of the signing were not disclosed.
"This facility is a good choice for a logistics company with warehousing needs," says Lundberg. "XLR8 Distribution is occupying the entire building. It includes an office component, a warehousing area and access to major roadways."
Located in Passaic County, XLR8's new location is near I-80, with routes 46 and 23 also nearby. The one-story facility has 18-foot to 20-foot ceiling heights, a half-dozen extended loading docks and parking for 43 vehicles, according to Lundberg. The building also has a new roof, added recently by the landlord.
