Site Plan Approval for $30M Church Complex

ROCKAWAY TWP., NJ-The 265,000-sf project is slated for a 107-acre tract acquired three years ago from Agilent Technologies.

ROCKAWAY TWP., NJ-Christ Church has picked up site plan approval for a $30-million complex on 107 acres along Green Pond Rd. here. The Montclair, NJ-based church bought the tract from Agilent Technologies three years ago for a number , previously reported by GlobeSt.com, as $10.25 million.

Site approval had been delayed by legal matters and the need for an exemption from the Highlands Act, a state law restricting development in the region. Christ Church has already established its administrative headquarters at the site while retaining its 800-seat sanctuary in Montclair. The eventual build-out will incorporate portions of the existing Agilent office complex at 140 Green Pond Rd., with new construction.
