NJSEA Proposes 35,000-SF Wagering Facility

BAYONNE, NJ-Targeted for a six-acre industrial site, the wagering facility would be the NJSEA's second in the state.

BAYONNE, NJ-Under the terms of legislation passed several years ago, the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority is authorized to operate up to nine off-track wagering facilities in New Jersey, and officials of the state agency are targeting a six-acre former industrial site here for one of those operations. The site is on Route 440 North, and the facility itself would total about 35,000 sf.

The proposed facility, which would combine wagering facilities with a restaurant, would be the NJSEA’s second, joining the six-month-old Favorites at Woodbridge in the Fords section of that township. It would be similar to Favorites, although somewhat larger than the 23,000-sf Woodbridge location.
