Complex Planned For Seven-Acre Site

LUBBOCK, TX-Tyler Technologies Inc. has acquired seven acres on which it plans two, three-story office buildings totaling 150,000 sf for its Incode Inc. division. The Dallas-based company will begin construction on the first 75,000-sf building in fall 2008.

The site is at the southwest corner of Chicago Avenue and 53rd Street. Once completed, the first building will consolidate 200 employees from three separate facilities in other parts of the city. The building can accommodate up to 350 employees.

The company’s growth and market demand for office space will determine when construction on the first building’s twin will begin. Tyler Technologies is also considering offering space for lease to interested tenants. Specific details of the project will be unveiled at a press conference scheduled to take place on May 12, 2008 at the Lubbock Club at the Wells Fargo Building at 1500 Broadway St.
