Center owner Eastern State Properties of Trenton was represented by Brent Barbehenn of the Mt. Laurel office of Metro Commercial, and Retro Fitness was represented in-house. Terms were not released; availabilities at the property totaling 12,500 sf in increments of 1,500 to 8,000 sf are currently listed with an asking price of $16 to $20 per sf.

"The center provides great accessibility and traffic," Barbehenn tells GlobeSt.com. "Retro Fitness should also definitely benefit from the area's excellent demographics."

For the five-year-old, Manalapan, NJ-based Retro Fitness, the latest signing is also part of a very ambitious expansion plan, according to Barbehenn. The company currently has 24 locations in operation, another 62 under development, and has a goal of opening 450 locations, mostly through franchisees, over the next three years.
