Management Firm Lands AVCA Contract

LAKE FOREST, CA-Professional Community Management of California Inc. has added Aliso Viejo Community Association to its list of clients, bringing 18,000 new mutlifamily units and homes under management. Aliso Viejo Community Association, or AVCA, is the largest association of its type in Orange County, with some 40,000 residents in the 18,000 units.

PCM of California previously managed AVCA from its inception in 1982 through 2005, notes Ross Chun, president, Aliso Viejo Community Association. PCM of California also oversees AVCA’s commercial centers, community parks and extensive common areas.

Michelle Burge, chief financial officer for Professional Community Management, points out that PCM has opened a new on-site office in Aliso Viejo. Burge notes that before taking over management for AVCA, PCM created a new logo and community Internet site for AVCA and its members. The Web site includes a communication system that allows association members to receive community updates, issue maintenance requests and contact property managers.
