Lauth Plans 3M-SF Distribution Park

[IMGCAP(1)]PENN TWP., PA-Indianapolis-based Lauth says it will start construction of the first of three buildings at its Key Logistics Park, a master-planned distribution park here. The 206-acre Cumberland County site, near exit 37 off Interstate 81, is planned to accommodate up to three million sf of bulk distribution space.

“Key Logistics Park is strategically located along the heaviest traveled distribution route in Pennsylvania,” says Kevin Wade, VP of office and industrial development for Lauth’s Northeast region, in a news release. “This site offers the ability to distribute to 40 million people within a four-and-a-half-hour drive and the flexibility to meet large distributor’s needs in any configuration desired.”

[IMGCAP(2)]A company spokesman tells GlobeSt.com that Lauth has developed other projects in Pennsylvania, “including one of the largest green distribution centers in the country. The 525,000-sf REI East Coast Distribution Center in Bedford, PA opened last year and is LEED Silver certified. In addition, we have other office and healthcare projects in development in other parts of the state.”
