SCM Adds Sales Specialist

ARLINGTON, TX-David Tuttle becomes the first broker in 25-employee firm dedicated solely to third-party acquisitions and dispositions.

ARLINGTON, TX-SCM Real Estate Services has added a senior investment sales specialist to its ranks, becoming the first team member to focus solely on acquisitions and dispositions. The firm’s new broker already is on board and settling into the role.

Joining the 25-employee firm is David Tuttle, who spent six years in investment sales in Dallas and then Fort Worth for Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services. He left Marcus & Millichap in December 2007, logging more than $150 million of sales during his tenure. He says SCM president Gary Walker was one of several brokerage leaders of regional firms that he talked to, but his previous dealings with SCM helped to shore up the decision to join the firm, which primarily deals in office and industrial properties.

“I wanted to work for a more regionally focused firm. I always felt my Achilles heel was not having a leasing team to go to,” Tuttle tells GlobeSt.com. “I thought SCM was a good fit.”
