Jason Volpe, managing director of Studley, represented Griffith Laboratories in the lease transaction. Jeff Mann, SVP with CB Richard Ellis, represented building owner Pritchett Realty Corp., based in Downers Grove, IL.
The two units chose the building, in part, because it is a one-story facility and a portion of the 31,234-sf will be laboratory space, Mann says. The space also has access to loading and the location is near interstates 88 and 355, he says. The 63,196-sf building has about 25,000 sf available. Dominion Enterprise is the other tenant in the building, Mann says. The asking lease rate is $14.50 per sf, net, he says.
