Emmett Purcell and Chip Manery, both with USI Real Estate Brokerage Services Inc., represented Ryder in the lease transaction. Wehrenberg represented Duke. Ryder has been a tenant in the building for three years. Ryder uses the building for logistics for LG appliances such as refrigerators, ranges and air conditioning units, Wehrenberg tells GlobeSt.com. The 529,000-sf building, which was constructed in 2005, is also leased by Exel Logistics, with 120,000-sf still remaining, she says.

Duke has had a few other leases in the Chicagoland area. In Bolingbrook, IL, TCG Packaging Inc. renewed a lease for a 145,000-sf building at 515 W. Crossroads Pkwy. The term of the lease renewal was five years. Wehrenberg represented Duke in the lease renewal and TCG Packaging represented itself. TCG Packaging acquired Chapco, which had been a tenant since 2001 when the building was constructed, Wehrenberg says. TCG Packaging makes cardboard packages, such as boxes for pasta, she says.
