Crowne Plaza, Indigo Get Moving in Fall

IRVING, TX-Platinum Hospitality LLC will break ground in the fall on a 150-room Crowne Plaza and 85-key Hotel Indigo beside the TPC golf course at the Four Seasons Resort & Club Dallas. The project cost is still being fine-tuned, but comparable dual projects have been coming in at $30 million, give or take.

The hotels will rise on five acres at the intersection of Texas 161 and Raspberry Road. The locally based Platinum’s tag-team project is compliments of a new license agreement with InterContinental Hotels Group of Atlanta. Dallas-based Patriot Hospitality will manage the duo, which are set to open in second quarter 2010. The Hotel Indigo is penciled to open first and the Crowne Plaza will come on line a month later, an IHG spokeswoman tells GlobeSt.com.
