"Remaining in the Northlake area was important to Apogee and we were fortunate to quickly locate a suite of over 7,000 sf that perfectly fit their requirements," Jason Jones, a director with Atlanta-based CresaPartners, stated in a release. "The new space even offers a view of the lake, and the generous tenant improvement allowance provides the opportunity to add extra upgrades to the existing configuration."

Apogee, now based at 2100 East Exchange Place, currently has 25 employees and will use the larger space at 100 Crescent Centre for future growth, according to Susan Gilbert, president and CEO of the 15-year-old company. She added that it has retained CresaPartners to coordinate the new office buildout, which is being designed by Loia Budde Architects.

CresaPartners, a corporate real estate advisory firm, negotiated Apogee's lease with LaSalle Income and Growth Fund, owner of 100 Crescent Centre. Jones and Billy Hobbs, CresaPartners principal, represented Apogee while Dennis Compton, CresaPartners VP and director of project management, will guide construction of the new offices.

In a related note, Jones and Hobbs also negotiated a lease by Afterburner Inc. for 8,784 sf at 55 Allen Plaza in Downtown Atlanta. Barry Real Estate represented the landlord.
